Mutual Aid

What is mutual aid? “Mutual aid is a voluntary reciprocal exchange of resources and services for mutual benefit. Mutual aid projects are a form of political participation in which people take responsibility for caring for one another and changing political conditions.”

How does mutual aid work? A request will be put out by email. If you have capacity, you are invited to send money via cashapp, venmo, or paypal to Jason, who will use the funds to address the need. There is no amount expectation– any amount is great and contributes to the overall goal of supporting community members. It is not customary in mutual aid networks to receive any sort of ‘thank you note’ for this contribution, though your support is so greatly appreciated.

Subscribe to Jason’s Mutual Aid Network on the home page to stay up to date on requests for support.
